The Boston Public Health Commission is sponsoring a free learning community for afterschool programs on healthy policies and practices – and we want you to participate!

Do you work at an afterschool program in Boston?  Join us this school year for a FREE Learning Community to support afterschool programs in establishing or continuing healthy practices and policies around: Food and beverages, Physical activity and Screentime.  Any afterschool program in the City of Boston is eligible to participate.  2 or 3 staff from your site will attend a series of 3 Learning Community workshops during the school year (a total of 10 hours), and will work to goals related to your program’s specific needs.  Participants are eligible to earn CEUs, will be compensated for their time and will receive incentives for their afterschool program.  For more information, and to register, email REACHOST@bphc.org or call Mary Bovenzi at 617-534-2342.

Do your children attend an afterschool program in Boston?  Help us spread the word by telling your afterschool site about BPHC’s learning community on health policies and practices for afterschool programs.
