On Wednesday, September 4th, The Dimock Center will host the Boston Mayoral Health Forum, an opportunity for mayoral candidates to express their position on health and wellness. Come learn about how your future mayor’s stance can impact you, your family and the city of Boston. The forum will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 pm at in the Cheney Building of The Dimock Center, located at 55 Dimock Street.
The Dimock Center meeting is a platform for people living in Boston to learn more about the 12 candidates’ positions on key health care issues such as balancing access to health care versus the cost of services, servicing our homeless populations, and how best to grow the healthcare sector. The panel will be moderated by Steve Aveson from New England Cable News and will include mayoral candidates Felix G. Arroyo, John Barros, Charles Clemons, Dan Conley, John Connolly, Rob Consalvo, Charlotte Golar Richie, Mike Ross, Bill Walczak, Martin J. Walsh, David James Wyatt and Charles C. Yancey.
The event is free and open to the public. Residents of all ages, providers, organizations, faith-based groups, youth groups, parents, seniors, and concerned local leaders are welcome to attend.
