Getting active and healthy in your community has never been more exciting. Now, participants in Mayor Thomas M. Menino’s Boston Moves for Health program can have a chance to throw out the ceremonial first pitch at the Red Sox-White Sox game on July 18, 2012.
Anyone who has registered at BostonMovesForHealth.org and logged at least three activities by noon on Friday, July 13, 2012, will be entered into the contest. The winner will be notified by Monday, July 16, and will also receive two tickets to the game and a Boston Moves for Health t-shirt.
Boston Moves for Health is an ambitious initiative to improve the health and wellness of the city by increasing access to free and low-cost physical activities and healthy living resources. Mayor Menino has challenged Bostonians to lose one million pounds and move ten million miles together. Go to BostonMovesForHealth.org to learn more.
